Decree Absolute


If you require a copy of a Decree Absolute (divorce certificate), you can order it through Official Records.

There are three available products:

Search up to 10 years

Cost: £75

Decree Absolute: Search up to 10 years

Search over 10 years

Cost: £110

Decree Absolute: Search over 10 years

Search over 20 years

Cost: £150

Decree Absolute: Search over 20 years

Our experienced team will conduct a search of the Central Registry of the Family Division for you to obtain an official Decree Absolute certificate to confirm a divorce has taken place or produce a nil result certificate to confirm no divorce has taken place in England and Wales.

This service takes up to 28 working days from receipt of your order.

Simply complete our online form, make payment and we will do the rest.

The basic information required by us is:-

  • The Husbands full name
  • The Wife's full name
  • The wife's maiden name
  • Date of marriage
  • Aprox. date of separation

We will then send you your Decree Absolute by first class post, the day of receipt.

This service applies only to England and Wales.
